A four-hand piano concert featuring Sergey Belyavskiy and Jacob Craig will be held on Sunday, January 20, at 4:00pm in the First Presbyterian Church sanctuary at 520 Royal Palm Boulevard, Vero Beach. This concert will feature both four-hand and solo performances. It is free to the community; a $10 donation is suggested.
One of last year’s most exciting performances is making a comeback at First Presbyterian for this one-afternoon-only special engagement. Sergey Belyavskiy is delighted to join Jacob Craig once again for a dynamic concert that is sure to impress. Last year, concertgoers were amazed at the skillful technique of these two virtuoso pianists as they performed together on four-hand compositions with the precision of a well-oiled machine. Each pianist also offered solo performances.
Sergey Belyavskiy is an award-winning pianist from Moscow. He has been a soloist with the Moscow State and Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestras. He has also performed throughout the world in major concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, and Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow.
Jacob Craig is the Director of Music and Arts at First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Music from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia, and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting and Literature from Florida State University. He is the Director of the Silver Tones community choir and Pipe Major of the Vero Beach Pipes and Drums. Jacob is also pursuing his Doctorate in Sacred Music Performance, with expected completion by October 2019.
